This is a turbine housing that we designed from scratch and made it for High Tech
Turbo. This is our performance diesel truck turbine housing. It is made from our
custom stainless steel and has an updated volute design. The difference that people
are seeing is the turbo spools much faster and also makes a ton more power than
the old housing they were using. The stainless steel makes better use of the thermal
energy. Iron is a bit thinner and also conducts heat so there is quite a bit of
thermal energy loss with the old iron housing. Stainless steel reflects the heat
so there is not much loss since stainless steel is not a conductor.
